Water Heater Replacement in Washougal
This Washougal home needed a new water heater, and we replaced the old 50 gallon electric unit. We installed the new heater with the necessary components to meet plumbing code. We completed the replacement in one visit.
A water heater swap is about everything around the tank as much as the tank itself. The old supply lines came out with the old unit, because connections age at the same rate as the equipment they serve. We set fresh lines, which will provide reliable service.
We installed a 2 gallon expansion tank, which is required by plumbing code. This tank absorbs the pressure that heating water creates, taking the strain off the water heater and the home's valves and fixtures.
We set seismic straps to hold the tank to the wall, keeping it secure in case of an earthquake.

We replaced the 50 gallon electric water heater with a new one, and set new water heater supply lines and seismic straps to meet plumbing code. We also set a 2 gallon expansion tank.
The home now has a new 50 gallon electric water heater with a 2 gallon expansion tank, new water heater supply lines, and seismic straps. We tested the new heater to confirm it was working properly.
