Pipe Repair in Camas
A Vancouver home had a leak in its plumbing system, and we found the source in the crawlspace: a leaking 3/4" tee. We recommended a repair to replace the faulty tee and a section of pipe. The repair was done in the same visit.
The leak was coming from a 3/4" tee in the crawlspace, which is a common spot for leaks to develop. To fix it, we cut out the old tee and a 3-foot section of pipe, because the surrounding pipe can be just as worn as the fitting itself.
We replaced the old parts with a new pex tee and connections, which are more resistant to leaks and corrosion than traditional materials. This repair will help the home's plumbing system run more efficiently.
By replacing the leaking tee and section of pipe, we were able to stop the leak and test the repair to confirm it was working properly.
Pipe repair
We cut out the leaking 3/4" tee and 3 feet of pipe in the crawlspace, and replaced them with a new pex tee and connections. We tested the repair before leaving.
The leak in the crawlspace was stopped, and the plumbing system was left in good working order. The new pex tee and connections are now part of the system.
