Bathroom Remodel in Battle Ground
This Battle Ground home underwent a bathroom remodel, and we handled the plumbing work. The project involved installing new fixtures, reconfiguring the layout, and connecting everything. We worked to bring the bathroom up to the homeowner's vision in a single visit where possible, and multiple trips as needed.
A bathroom remodel involves swapping out old fixtures for new ones and rethinking the entire space. In this case, we roughed-in drains, water, and installed a freestanding tub and filler on a platform, as well as two multi-choice shower valves with rain heads and handhelds.
We also relocated and replaced the p-trap shower drain, installed a new multifunction shower valve, and roughed-in the connections for the rain head and handheld. To inspect the drain line, we used a camera. This step is part of our standard process.
Throughout the project, we tested our work as we went, including checking for leaks and verifying that all the new fixtures were functioning as intended.
Rough-in and fixture installation
We roughed-in drains, water, and installed a freestanding tub and filler on a platform. We also installed two multi-choice shower valves with rain heads and handhelds, and relocated and replaced the p-trap shower drain with a round brushed nickel mud set shower strainer.
Shower valve and drain work
We installed a new multifunction shower valve and roughed-in the connections for the rain head and handheld. We also used a camera to inspect the drain line and made any necessary adjustments.
Tub and filler installation
We re-centered and replaced the drain and re-routed the vent for the freestanding tub. We then roughed-in the tub drains and water supply, and returned to install the tub and tub filler.
Angle stop replacement
We replaced a leaking angle water shut off for the toilet with a new quarter turn angle stop.
Lavatory sink and faucet installation
We installed a new sink and faucet, connected the drain and water connections, and caulked the sink. We tested for leaks.
Re-piping for new sink location
We re-piped the waste and water lines for the lavatory stub out to accommodate the new sink location on the double vanity.
Toilet installation
We set a toilet for the master bathroom using a provided toilet with no warranty.
Pop-up supply
We supplied a pop-up for both vanities to complete the sink installations.
The bathroom remodel is now complete, with all new fixtures installed and the plumbing system fully functional. We verified that everything was working as intended before finishing the job.
